History

MKD Electric was established by Mark Wesa in 1995 as a merit shop industrial electrical contractor. It all began with one truck (used), a few tools (also used), and one client. Word of MKD Electric’s exceptional quality, safety, customer service, and value soon spread, resulting in a rapid expansion of our client base.

Today, MKD Electric is one of the Midwest’s largest full-service merit shop industrial electrical contractors, specializing in instrumentation and control systems integration. For nearly 25 years, we have designed, built, installed, and maintained our clients’ systems, projects, and facilities.

We focus on safety, quality, and service, as well as building and maintaining lasting relationships with our clients. Our goal is to build clients for life.
